The power of these springs is easily adjustable and if set to the manufacturer’s recommended setting, 1/3 of the body weight is supported by the system and transmitted directly from the pelvis to the boots.
When skiing in a series of turns, your “weight” is multiplied by the centrifugal force of the turn, as well as the gravity pulling you down the hill. While a traditional brace only provides lateral support for the knee, it is the reduction in vertical pressure that will mechanically lead to significant reductions in knee pain, or for some, to its complete disappearance.
Additionallyh, the springs act as shock absorbing suspension system for the terrain you experience on the mountain. The Ski~Mojo allows you to ski with more flexibility, and reduces the stress and vibration/jolting that your back and hips have to endure.
More than 20,000 skiers are regular Ski~Mojo users and now recommend it to their friends. If you’re wondering if it will work for you, we are confident that the answer will be YES in more than 95% of the time, but if you are skeptical, try it and share your experience with us.
Please note however, that like many other devices designed to facilitate, extend or improve the practice of a sport (electrical power-assisted bikes for example), Ski~Mojo is not a medical device.
